Thursday Night Training Information...

Description

This class is seen by students as the defining class of the week! A mixed class, comprising juniors and seniors in age and grade, there is something for everyone here. For junior grades, an emphasis is placed on mastering the fundamentals of kihon and Kata while senior grades are expected to develop and incorporate a range of technically superior techniques from a variety of martial arts into their syllabus.

This is a high energy class and you will regularly find students fitness tested with a range of energy sapping and mentally taxing drills. Bag work, pad work, ground techniques, self defence and kumite, both  WKF rules & knock down feature prominently in the senior grade programme and a supply of water bottles is a must for senior students!

The mood of this class is very much about focus, discipline and a positive work ethic. However at the same time, there is great camaraderie and a positive spirit among students and instructors alike. Strong friendships have been formed here and beginners and guest will be hard pressed to find a more friendly, encouraging and welcome group of students.
